Portrait
This portrait was inspired by the new camera that was installed in the latest Iphone version. The Iphone gives you a feature where you can really emphasize the fact that you are trying to portray someone or something. I took this picture of my sister with her dog because that is one of the things she loves.
Reading an image
This picture is an example of a portrait. There are no objects, shadows (in the background)
or other people to distract our eye from the man in the center of the image. The lighting
is perhaps very strong and artificial. In fact it appears he is in some sort of room dedicated
to taking pictures. Meaning a back drop with loud artificial lights. The only evidence of shadow
can be found on the right side of his face. (our right). This means that the artificial light
was placed a certain way to get a certain message across. This image contains no color. It
Is simply black and white. The blackness of his shirt forms a sort of triangle which takes
our eyes to the center of the picture where you can find his face. It is a fairly close up
photo with a man in the foreground and a white wall somewhere in the background. The
camera is center to his eyes at eye level so that the very center of the image is the bridge of his nose. This image almost creates two different sides to this person. One light and one kind of dark. There is a sort of symmetry to it.
The action of holding your hand up to your chin represents the idea of thinking in our culture. The combination
of glasses and the action of thinking causes us to think he is on to something and could
be smart. If you didn't already know who this is, the image has already taught us that he
is important and possibly smart and onto a great idea. This, (in the picture) is Steve Jobs but you already
knew that.

One Word
Lights and Shadows .
This picture represents the theme lights and shadows.
I thought it was very interesting to see the foreground
become such a dark shade when it was practically the
afternoon with full vulnerability to the sun. I am satisfied
with this picture however I think it is no where near
complete. This picture was also taken with no editing
whatsoever.

Unclear
This image actually portraits an action in a way.
I shot this with my friend Scott and it just so
happened to have turned out perfect for the theme
of unclear. Unintentionally there is an uplifting of
shade starting from the bottom and going to the top.
I overall think that this was a success and wouldn't
change much.

Blue
I am honestly torn by this picture. I so badly
want to give it the them of angles but I think it
best fits the theme of blue. Now whenever I look
at this picture my eyes can't go anywhere but
to the sky. There is a great pattern created thanks
to the clouds. Successful picture overall.

Found
This picture represents the starting of a
found friendship. It's a sort of conversation
starter when you happen to match another
persons attire and from here the possibilities
are endless. Not as successful as it should be
but I like the story.

Familiar
This image can relate to my last image
if you want to go ahead and reference it.
It's how the two people connected and how
familiar they are to each other now when once
they were complete strangers. Successful shot
in some areas however there are some
things I'd like to change.
